Metallo is the cyborg villain from DC Comics, primarily known as a formidable adversary of Superman.
His origin typically involves John Corben, a career criminal who sustains a near-fatal injury. Subsequently, his brain is transplanted into a robotic body powered by Kryptonite, giving him superhuman strength, durability, and the ability to emit Kryptonite radiation.
